I wanted to compliment Benchmade on excellent warranty service. I broke the clip trying to bend the clip as it was slightly sprung when I got it from Knifeworks....great place to buy from ....and it was just a minor thing so I was living with it but I tried to fix it. Anyway, I contacted Cory with warranty/customer service and she sent me a new clip and screws free of charge! I got it it within 5 days. I used customer service several years back and was just as impressed then. Prompt service and no charge. Thank you Benchmade. A great American company making Great high quality knives and providing excellent customer service. I thought this forums would like to know about this.

Yup!!!
I recently dealt with Micah at BM CS and can only say they have excellent CS period!
Friendly, prompt and extremely helpful each time I have needed help!
One bad side effect is I just keep buying more of them.....ugh!!
Just sent my 581 in for a blade swap.....wanna check out a black blade on it just because.
M390 blade, installed with a total tune for $40, and returned in a week???? Excellent company to deal with!

Well good to hear since I have to send my M390 707 in due to me ripping the pocket clip off. Got hung on my seatbelt. Stripped the liner taps for the pocket clip.
Really hope all goes well as it is my favorite EDC and seemingly irreplaceable.

The clips and screws aren't free guys. They are factored into the retail price of everything they sell, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Somewhere someone is paying for it. The wording and way it is presented makes people feel all warm and squishy inside. It is what it is.

Kinda like government assistance and aid programs; the people paying the most in are not the ones reeping benefit.

The more it is abused, the higher the prices. I do wish BM would allow purchase of the deep carry pocket clips. If so, all mine would have them. As it stands now I only have three.
