Does anyone know about how long it takes to get a knife back from BM and if I can call them to get an update on my knife? I have a BM 913D2 nitrous stryker and it has been there for a couple of weeks if not more and just wondering when I will get it back.

I think it generally depends on how much work they have already. I have never sent anything back to them, but I have heard that it could be anywhere from a couple days to a couple of weeks. I think you should just give them a call and ask.

Usually about 2 weeks but it depends on how much work they have to do. You can call them for an update. They are very nice to talk to. GOOD LUCK! Kevin :D

If it has been a couple of weeks, it wouldn't hurt to call and check status. That way you won't have to worry that it is lost in the mail or something.

FYI - Benchmade's main number to check on warranty/LifeSharp repairs is: 800-800-7427. Advice: Forget emails, give 'em a call.

Another resource is to go to their main site at Benchmade.com, go down to LifeSharp and they have a graphic which gives the approximate turnaround time in days...right now it's 7 to 10.

Hope that helps.

Ok guys thank you I shall gve them a call today and see whats up with my Stryker because it was touching the liner and you could also depress the blade into the blade into the handle when it was closed and that caused to the blade to develop a chip on the edge.

It depends on what your sending, and how much work has to be done. I sent them a 707d2 with a broken tip with the cash for a blade replacement and they did replace the blade…with one of 154cm. I sent it back again and am really hoping that they find a d2 blade for me.

Hey guys I just got the knife back in from BM and it's in perfect condition and it's just as sharp as when I first received it it centers perfectly and no chip so it's in tip top and Bristol fashion. Thank you gentlemen and Benchmade for taking care of my ailed knife.

And it took about 2 1/2 weeks and the blade no longer can be depressed into the handle so I am very confident about the performance of the knife, though it will have to get some use for me to really trust the build quality of the knife but knowing Benchmade I am confident.

Congrats, the 913D2 is an excellent knife
and one of my favorite EDC's. I have never
had a problem with mine and use it very hard.
Benchmade stands behind their products.
