Can someone tell me what year this was made? Found one today in a shop for $150 and have no idea what year it was made and general value.

Edit. Didn’t get a pic.

no idear. kinda neat. have no info sure would like to hear more what its background is from. too bad no pics. i know everyone hates southern heritage nowadays...so much even brend stopped using it on his knives as an example.

You have probably seen a one of Benchmade Brend Talon knives, made in the '90s. The flag is the logo of Walter Brend.

The maker you're probably mentioning is Walter Brend, known for some amazing knives from the South. Great Folders and fixed blades!

We have done some of the custom handle marking here. We only do aluminum handles. A lot of those blade laser marks are also ours.

Flag was on the blade, it looks exactly like one of the BM Brend Talon I found a pic of. Dudes wants $150 for it including the box, need to decide if I want to get it.

The Talon 600 In the original box will hold more value. And if it's mint worth even more. I own the Benchmade 750, but finding one of Walter's collaboration with BKC has always come up empty. If the knife looks good get it.
