Benchmade with slimmer handle?

check out the 707. if you really want nice, thin scales, look at the 940. different blade shape, but still pretty great.

The 707 is a nice knife. I found it to be just a bit short in the grip. The 940 series measures about 4 1/4 in closed and the blade is right at 3 1/4. Both are nice gents knives and are built to handle more. Either one would be great.

Mini-grip or if you want to upgrade, 943. I've handled the 707, but like Whitedog mentioned it's just way too small. It even feels smaller than the mini-grip.

The 94X series has a very thin profile.

You can also look at getting replacement Wilkins scales for your griptilian. They're slim and really nice but will run you $100 +

Take a look at the Benchmade 710. I bought the Griptilian, great knife but the handle was thicker than I wanted for pocket carry. Next I bought the 707, terrific little knife, disappears in the pocket, but like Whitedog I felt the handle was a bit on the short side for me. Now I have the 710 and have been carrying it every day for a couple of months, awesome knife if you can get away with a 4" pocket knife.
