What are the other entry level Benchmades? I see the site has then divided into different classes "gold" black,Blue etc...

Red (now discontinued) is the entry level for Benchmade. Many of these overseas designs are now under the Harley-Davidson or HK brand and can be good beaters.
Blue is your bread and butter everyday American BMs with great F&F & Black is generally heavier duty, with beefier locks and thicker blade designs.
Sadly, I can't afford to be much of a Gold Class guy as these are the pimped out gentleman and special material, limited editions:grumpy:
