Benchmade's 310 Benchmite?

I have one. It's a nice little knife. The lock is stiff due to very close tolerances. It is breaking in well and should be fine.

I gave one to my wife, a friend and I have one. The lock is fine...but the knife is a bit "slippery" and can easiy slide out of your pants pocket. I've found mine on the car seat more than once and stopped carrying it as often as I did before that happened.

I think the 310 is a great little knife. The lock can be a bit stiff but it's a pretty cool mechanism and that adds to the appeal of the knife, for me at least. It can be a tricky bugger to keep track of if carried loose in the pocket so I had a lanyard put on mine and keep it in a clip case when I carry it.

I agree with what has been said. Its a great little knife.

One thing ill add is that its one of the most "sheeple" friendly knives ive ever come across. I dont know it is because of its size, blue handle, or celtic knot design but noone seems to be frightened by it. In fact many people ask to see it, even people who typically do not like knives.

Good luck in finding one. The 310 has (IMO) the best blade shape and material of the Benchmites. My 310 is not stiff at all--depress the lock, twitch the wrist and it's open.
It is very small and thin, and like jujigatame, I have a lanyard and a slip case.
