I just went to BM's website to check a couple things out , and was really surprised when I clicked on it...

They have a totally new website. It even has a virtual tour video.

http://www.benchmade.com/

The new site doesn't have the discontinued models page. I called yesterday and asked and the rep told me they were "working on it" I sure hope so, I found it to be a great resource.

I noticed that too. Hopefully they do incorporate it into the new site. It is a great resource

I don't see the old catalog's either or how to order a new one. All they have is the current catalog that you can download. I hope this doesn't mean they are doing away with the hard copy catalog's you could order. And I really hope they bring back the old catalog's you could look threw.

I've got most of the old one's saved on my pc. If they don't add em back to the site, I'll find somewhere to upload and post em.

I like the new look and feel. It is faster and a bit more friendly. The site's definitely different, but easier to navigate.

Yep. Seems brighter and has a little life to it too... If that makes any sense :D

Now lets see something new and exciting.

I'm tired of only drooling over new cool stuff from Sypderco or ZT

Ohh and hire someone to post on BF more often. You're missing out on valuable outreach.

I talked to BM again about bringing back the discontinued models page and their response has gone from "we're working on it" to "Not aware of any plans to bring it back".

I was encouraged by the rep to give my customer feedback in writing via e-mail which I did.

I'd encourage anyone who'd like to see this feature brought back to e-mail BM and let them know. It was a great resource and it would be a shame not to have it any longer.

The new website does not list Gold Class either? Are they stopping GC from now forward?

I think they just geared more towards listing the knives that they sell directly to consumers. Not sure why they dont wanna advertise everything they make on their website.
