Recently i bought this BenchMark Carolina Hunter in new & unused condition from the unsold stock of a long gone hunting & fishing store in the Netherlands.
The knife came in it's original box & complete with a well made leather sheath, papers, and a number of original yellow BenchMark patches.
It's a very well made knife with nice details like the soldered brass guard and the wild duck shield in the back of the handle.
Although the brochure says that this model was only made with cocobolo, "stick stag", or black Micarta handles, the box states that the handle on this knife is made from mesquite wood.
The serial number on the knife is AD382 (March 1982) which corresponds with same number on the box.

That is a nice find! Especially with the supporting items, ie, box, patch, sheath and papers.

Thanks for sharing!

A very nice, collectable package. Beautiful knife, but extra fun to have all the additional bits as well. Congrats!

They made those knives 10 min. from where I live! There
was some nice knives come out of there! Sometimes
you can still find them around here! Not very many!
Congrats on a Excellent N.C made knife!
