I just picked this up and thought I'd present it to you for review. I cannot find one single thing about it online. I got interested in Benchmark knives when I recently ran across a ROLOX Viper. I had never seen one of these knives and thought it was pretty cool.
Anyways, this is the Benchmark Switch_A_Blade knife set with a handle that has 3 different blades that can be inserted into it. The knife handle is 3.75" long and the blades are 3.5625". knife is 6.25" overall with blades installed.
The blades say "Michael Collins Design" on one side and have the have the circular "Hunting Classics Limited benchmark Knives" moniker with the fighting bucks or elk if you prefer
The knife came with original box, associated paperwork, cordura sheath, and of course the knife handle and the 3 blades.
I just thought it was very interesting and thought I'd share. Not a very usable knife, but interesting.
I don't care about value, but can anyone shed some light on this knife? Is Michael Collins a brother of Blackie Collins or is the last name a coincidence?
Enjoy.
