Bencmade Griptilian retrofit?

Does anyone know if it's possible to send in one of the regular Grips (550 PE) to have a replacement Ritter blade put in and how much it would be?

Yeah, I should probably call tomorrow. I'm assuming the RSK blade would fit, right? But then again, you can't get blades with opening holes...but my dad is a machinist...

I read somewhere of a BM blade swap ran around $30.

It starts around $25, and goes up. I'm going to guess that *IF* they'll do it with the RSK blades (they may not, contractually, be allowed to - RSKs are limited to Doug/Aeromedix) it might be closer to $50 than $30. Limited edition, steel upgrade, etc.

But I'd love to be wrong.

Historically BM would only swap high end blades into handles that already had a high end blade in them. They would replace a M2 AFCK blade with an M2 blade, but would not replace a standard blade with an M2. I don't know what their policy is on it now though.

Sorry, but the RSK MkI blade is not available for retrofit.

I thought they did blade upgrades? I swore someone returned a 710 to have the M2 retrofitted

That does not mean that it has not happened before, but I don't think it is a regular occurrence.
