bend tip correction

Have a set of wushtof knives and a family member managed to bend the tip on one, any ideas on how to correct it?
Only the very tip is bent but its like a 90 degree angle.

likely it will snap off eventually even if it gets straightened and doesn't. can apply some heat...not enough to change the heat treat and tap it straight....or sharpen it away by reprofiling the point and blade length. depends how far the bend is from the point. whether that's worthwhile or not.

I think he wanted to know a polite way to correct the individual who bent the tip.
