Has anyone tried, successfully, to bend G10 liners material, either by heating or some other method? I have a project I'm working on that requires me to bend some around a form. The G10 in question is about 1/16" thick, and doesn't need to bend a great deal, but I don't want to try to adhere it under pressure. If anyone has any tips, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Travis

G10 will burn before it softens, that's not going to work.

Take thinner pieces, I’d laminate 2 .030” liner pieces to make up your 1/16” total thickness. Glue those thinner pieces together while clamping them around your form then when you unclamp them they should hold that shape and you can glue them to the project without them springing back or being under pressure. Similar to bent laminations for wood working

There are fiberglass composites made with thermoplastics instead of epoxy that would work. I don't know offhand where to source them though.

start with a thicker piece and grind it to the dimensions you need?
