My ZT 0560 has a weak detent. Is this a problem for anyone else? Have you tried to slightly bend the lockbar to make it stronger?

yes yes yes, the warranty will be screwed, but that's not my question.

It's a fine line. If you increase the engagement too much it can also make the lock sticky to disengage.

^^^ and possibly wear the lock prematurely. I had a not so expensive custom flipper that had a weak detent and it wasn't flipping quite how I wanted it to. I did what you're suggesting, and even with a carbidized lock face, it started sticking real bad. When I moved the lockbar out to where it was before, I sensed minor lock rock

Instead of bending the lockbar, the best option would be to drill out the detent hole by just a minute amount. That would probably work, but its also pretty risky.

I have seen a lot of posts talking about drilling detent holes, but haven't seen anyone that can do it. This is really frustrating me!
