Bending titanium pocket clip?

Hi guys. So, on my sebenza 25 there is a minor issue I have. I love the knife oh so dearly, but I don't use the pocket clip as it digs into my fingers when I have a tight grip on the knife, due to the finger grooves that kind of force your hands to a specific position.

So far, i have been using her for the last 2 years without the clip, and really can't take it anymore so I need to mod my clip a bit. I am going to grind off about a quarter inch, in hopes that this will remedy the part of the clip, the tip, that digs into my fingers, and might alter the bend just a bit.

My question is, in order to bend the ti clip, do I need to heat it up?

And, since the clip is either sand blasted or bead blasted, I hate to ruin the finish, so was wondering if I might be better using a heat gun as opposed to a torch that will blacken the finish.

Just thinking out loud before I give it a go, wondering everyone's thoughts on it. Thanks for the help guys.

Okay thanks. Actually, I was more thinking of a couple deeper bends. Perhaps a bit more than a tweak....Any suggestions?

Any other thoughts on if I need heat or not, with some deep bending of a ti clip?

thanks again
