Received an order from Ben Seward this week. With all the bowies and fighters he has been putting out lately, I figured he could handle doing a large hunter. ;) I didn't have to twist his arm. Really happy with the result. Plus, he provided this nice image with the carved leather sheath with ostrich overlay his father, David, masterfully constructed.

4 and 3/4-inches W2 blade with hamon, 9 and 1/2-inches overall with stabilized Missouri Black Walnut and damascus guard. Nicely contoured handle that feels great in hand.

Hope you like it.

Thanks Ben and David!

That's a very fine Hunter/Sheath package. Congrats Joe, great work Ben and David.:thumbup::thumbup:

That's real nice, that hamon looks "better" than usual for a western maker. Sheathwork is gorgeous.

Best Regards,

Yes, I think that Seward boy's going to make a knife maker yet. Very nice knife. The sheath is outstanding as well.

Thanks, guys. Joe, I'm glad you like it...hope it was worth the wait:o. STeven, I've been trying to put into practice some of the principles you've talked about with hamons, so that means a lot coming from you. I think this knife will be floating around BLADE show, so maybe Joe'll let some of y'all coonfinger it;)

Congrats, Joe !
VERY nice work, Ben and David.
Love that Missouri walnut and the cool sheath, and of course the knife itself.

Doug

Thanks for all the comments! Real happy with this one.

Ben, I will have it along, for sure. It was worth the wait. Little Rock, Blade Show, what's the difference. ;) :D
