bent edge

So i opened up a few coconuts with my knife and bent the edge slightly. Any suggestions on how to fix this, or should i just wait until it disappears to resharpening? It doesn't seem to be a huge problem, but it still bugs me a little.

on the plus side, I did convert a few sheeples by showing them that knives are useful tools

Resharpen it - the bent part is weakened and should be sharpened out.

If you're going to open coconuts on a regular basis, you might want to put a heavier edge on your knife so it won't bend.

Heh, if I do open another coconut, it wouldn't be on a regular basis.

Thanks for the tip. Time to practice freehand I guess, since I'm too cheap to buy one of those fancy systems.
