I have been on a bit of a ZT kick lately and have picked up a few from various sellers, all new. I grabbed a 0350BW a few months ago then a 0550BLK and a 0801BW last week and today I received a 0200 and the 0566BWCF. I have other ZTs that I have collected over the years and come to expect a centered blade and perfect action out of the box. Outside of a slightly off-centered 350, they have all been perfect. Until today that is...
Here is the first indication that something was very wrong:
,
The blade is wayyyyyy off-center and almost touching the scale. Before I looked over the rest of the knife, I figured that it could be fixed with a few adjustments maybe. I was being overly optimistic, but I found it hard to believe that this brand new ZT was bad out of the box. The blade wasn't bent, what could it be? Then I looked down the spine:

The entire frame is bent!! Not sure how this one made it through the QC process, but it did. I can accept minor flaws, but this is a bit too much. It sucks too because I really like the knife. Too bad it won't be joining these badboys:
The 0400 is this pic is my very first ZT and still gets carried to this day. For anyone on the fence about buying a ZT, DO NOT let my post persuade you in a negative way. This is not the norm for these knives.
