Mine came in this afternoon! I did not have time to go to the range but hope to tomorrow.
I had come down to the Sig P239 or the Beretta. After considering everything, with the biggest factor being that the Sig was $300 higher in cost, plus the fact I've had a couple of 92's in the past, drove me in the direction of the 92A1.
It's been at least 10 years since I have owned, or even shot a pistol. But the second I picked the 92 up it just settled in my hand and felt as familiar as an old friend. I can't wait to get it out to the range and put some rounds through it. Speaking of, do any of you 9mm folks shoot 115 grain hollow points as your "go to" bullets? I am going to put at least 200 rounds of 147 ball through it, and my final 2 magazines will contain Remington 115 JHP's, which will be the load I will have in the gun on a regular basis. It might not be Remington but it will be the 115 grain loads.
Anyone have a chance to try out the 92A1? Anyone own one? What are your thoughts on the improvements over the 92FS?
