has anyone seen one of these. At www.knifeoutlet.com. Its a Beretta gentlemen's knife with a 2 inch blade of cpm s30v steel, and titanium liners. Looks cool but am not sure about beretta knives. The downer is its made in taiwan. Personally i like the made in USA stampjust my preference..any thoughts on the knife though?

You mean this? Don't know if I'd call it a gentleman's knife. As far as its being made in Taiwan, I don't know that it matters. Taiwan used to have a reputation for knock-off crap; however, over the past few years that's been changing. Benchmade's Red Class knives are made in Taiwan, and they're top-notch. It depends on who in particular manufactures the tool, not necessarily on the country where the manufacturer is located.

This one looks nice, although I've already got a Benchmade 440 (S30V blade as well, much nicer IMO).

S30V is an American steel, so wouldn't Taiwan manufacturing be costly? They would have to ship out the steel from the US to Taiwan just to make a knife that could easily be made in the States?

For some reason I doubt it is quality S30V.
