I was going to post this under the “New Acquisitions” thread but the damned thing is so nice, I thought it deserved its own thread. Bought it in the sales section last week and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Shout out to Themadfilipino29483 Themadfilipino29483 for a great deal on a great blade. Not sure if many people are familiar with Berg Blades. Apparently it’s owned by a Fireman/Knife guy. The knives are designed by him but made by Reate. These were a limited run and and I now possess Number 1!

As I said in another thread, I’m a sucker for butcher or barber blades and as soon as I saw this guy I had to have it. Before it arrived, I went down the YouTube rabbit hole and found nothing but glowing reports on it. I’m happy to report they are well deserved. This thing is pretty flawless. The attention to detail seems like something you’d find on customs three times the price! The action is smooth as glass, and the blade is M390 steel. The only bad part about it is that now I’m torn. The seller told me he bought it at the Berg Blades table at the show in Atlanta last year. It doesn’t look like it was ever carried. They’re not a single smudge or scratch on it. I bought it to add it into my rotation but now I’m not so sure considering it’s serial number. What do you guys think? Safe queen or user?
