I didn’t post this in his subforum in case there was something uncomfortable or tragic that had happened, and my apologies if it doesn’t belong here either.

Has Bernard Levine abandoned his subforum? I see from his profile he hasn’t posted since February of last year. I hope he isn’t having health issues.
 
I've asked the same question in the past and was told basically that he was "busy." He does post on occasion but mostly these days only when he's hoping to glean some information about a particular knife he is trying to evaluate. It's a shame, he is a wealth of knowledge and doesn't suffer fools much but as it turns out there somehow is more to life than Bladeforums...
 
That forum seems to run fine without him. The members as a group can identify anything.
