This knife and others like it represented state of the art skills in 1972. It features excellent fit and finish, great lines, excellent use of materials, superior design for intended use etc. Bernard Sparks is a past president of the Guild and is still active, at least his website indicates he is. I enjoy this knife a lot and find myself often taking pictures of it in different settings. I sort of like how this image turned out.

Howdy Mark! It's 10 1/2 in. OAL - pretty heavy too at a hair over 17 oz.! 'Course that's nothin' for a real man. It's actually a really nice knife, very comfortable in a usable way. It'll chop with some authority or you can choke up on it and do more precise work.

Not yer average latest, trend-busting black-precious metal oxide coated tactical knife... These designs have such timeless appeal. Quality Fit and finish conquers all. Jason.

I like it, too. Looks great. Has a charming rustic appeal to it.

Just beautiful! I like the flow of it and the deep belly of the blade.
10 1/2 OAL.
 :D
