Bernie Mac...RIP...

i saw that too...man, i love bernie mac...Morgan freeman's walking a day after an accident, and then mac dies of pneumonia..Dang!
 
What a shame. Rest in peace, funny man. I was watching a Bernie Mac rerun yesterday when my wife came in and told me of your passing. I'm sorry to see you go but you left me laughing,
 
Apparently it wasn't the first time he was really ill. sux going out @ 50y/o with a pneumonia ! :(
 
That's a shock. There has to be some other factor involved.

I haven't seen him in much, but what I saw him in, I liked it (Ocean's 11, Bad Santa).

He had a preexisting lung problem and he smoked. Pneumonia is always a serious infection; it is just that with antibiotics we don't lose as many as in the past. A large number of the elderly are still taken by pneumonia. With Bernie's smoking and other lung problems, he probably had the lungs of an elderly person (my opinion).
