I picked these two incredible pieces up several months ago and finally got around to getting a couple of display stands for them….always fantastic Damascus and creations from my friend. 😎

Dudley ALWAYS impresses. As does Bertie Rietveld!

I did a double take at the fixed blade; I have it's twin sister here, yet had to LOOK, because I thought "I must have sold that??!" Got it directly from him in 2002.

Bertie said he got this inspiration for its shape when out in the bush. Saw a deceased animal and studied the bone structure of a jointed limb.

He declared (rightly) "There is beauty in nature in form. Replicate that." So he did.
