Besides gec, who else makes a good US made barlow under $100?

Case makes them, though currently it's only offered in a stag handled version with 1 or 2 blades and a larger single-blade Grand Daddy Barlow variant.

Canal Street makes them, as does Utica Cutlery.

Utica offers a Barlow in 1095, I cannot speak to the quality having never owned one, but they are cheap enough to buy and see at around $35 or so.

might be worth a shot. i was just looking at them.

Here are a couple of the discontinued Case variety:

I've missed a couple of opportunities to pick up some more.

Case still offfers them with Rough Black covers and Dark Red jigged bone covers too - both 2-blade knives with clip and pen blades.

The Queen Dan Burke barlow is as nice as GEC's (and is in D2!). Runs around $75.

Canal Street also makes a very nice barlow but run from about $99-130 new. You can find them on the bay cheaper sometimes.

And then there is case...I have two case barlows with excellent fit and finish and run less than $60.

I have four Barlows, and the Queen is my favorite. The CASE Barlows are quite sturdy (and some really pretty!) but somehow this Queen DB just feels right. The steel is excellent, and you get a sheepfoot blade (almost a small wharncliff) instead of a pen blade as your second.

Mine has been excellent so far.

The Queen Dan Burke small Barlow is no longer available. We seem to be in a Barlow drought for some reason.

Edit: I initially posted that they are still available but I checked both sites I last saw them and they show out of stock now.

The original USA-made Old Timer Barlow knives are common at the you-know-where website. There was an early Ulster Old Timer Barlow, and a 1970s Grand Dad's Old Timer Barlow. Both have 1095 carbon steel and Delrin handles.

Hopefully we will see some more barlows coming to market in due time. Queen has a barlow-esque knife in stag on their website....seems to be a mini barlow of sorts.

I love my CSC but would like to see one in a spearpoint with some swedges and long pulls.

I'd also love to see more of the Dan Burke barlows from Queen with some different handle choices. I'm glad I bought mine when I did as they seem impossible to find now even on the secondary market.
