Best 1 ounce knife?

There's the SOG Flash 1 which weighs in at 34g (1.2oz).
I can highly recommend it, as it is fast (AO) and very compact.
Of course it is not as pretty as the one you linked :p

William Henry makes exquisite gent's folders. If that is what you are looking for, you won't find better.

Pros - a great knife no doubt
Cons - cost an arm & a leg!

I have a small Boker ceramic/titanium folder that weighs 1 oz and makes a great Sunday slicer.

I have a 2oz. William Henry. I figured the extra length (3 1/8" blade) was worth the extra weight. A very useful knife but no longer in production. The ZDP 189 blade really holds an edge.

Spyderco makes the lady bug. It's about 0.6-oz.
Kind of small for most activities.
I think you won't find too much out there at the 1-oz weight limit for EDC. If you go 2 or 2.5 you will have far more selection.

I don't know what they weigh but for a light-weight, completely rust-free, edc, I've been using a colbalt-bladed, David Boye, Zytel-handled folder re-ground by Tom Krein for several years now and use it everyday.

The Buck/Mayo Waimea weighs a bit more than an ounce (1.8 oz.) but it's a great high quality lightweight folder.

Can we get a picture or two of that one? :)

Someone mentioned the Spyderco Bug - my own experience is that it is too small to be useful. Same thing with the SOG Micron. The Spyderco Delica only weighs about 2 oz and is much more useful -- of course, it is no William Henry. A Chris Reeve Mnandi is a better comparison, but it weighs about 2 oz, as well.

Dang, that William Henry knife is nice for sure, love the pocket clip!

As kda89508 mentioned, Al Mar knives are excellent. With the Falcon Ultralight model you get 3 inches of blade for an overall weight of 1.2 ounces! Hard to beat that. They may not be as pretty as that William Henry, but I do think they are remarkably handsome in their own right.
