Best <$100 folder?

HK Nitrous Blitz by Benchmade. zdo-189 is hyped way to much, not a good edc steel either

ZDP-189 Full flat ground Spyderco Delica

Agreed, I'm also a fan of the Native...so many choices under $100 that its impossible to pick "one best" plus its only an opinion. I EDC an A.G. Russell Acies that has ZDP-189 and "for me" it makes for a wonderful everyday carry blade steel.

I thought it was obvious that "best" meant in your personal opinon, I'll edit that.

Spyderco:Para2, Native, Stretch
BM: Grip, mini-Grip
You can go with higher priced knives if you keep your eyes open on the exchange here. See Spyderco Militarys go for under $100 regularly (my carry of choice).

For ME:
Para2 and/or Sage1.
For you?
Depends on how big your hands are, how much under $100, how much you like to sharpen, how you expect to use it, and any number of other criteria.

I absolutely knew that you were asking for opinions, no need to edit. I'm sorry, I just meant that there are SO many great folders out there now for under $100 that there are several you could pick and feel great about your choice. It wasn't my intent to critique the wording of your question.

I really like the OKC Rat 1 for sub $40. For a slight upgrade in steel (154 cm) and lighter weight, I recommend the BM Mini-Grip. You can't go wrong with a Spydy Para 2 either.

I find myself carrying my Buck Vantage Pro more and more. My Endura with ZDP is also a very useful knife. Both are great values.

I agree with the benchmade mini grip. Light weight, 154 steel, and easy to use lock. I would steer away from zdp, it is too difficult to keep sharp. Spyderco delica or native would also be a solid choice.
