Best $50 Folder/Assisted

I am a bit puzzled. Did you happen to post this in the wrong sub forum? Or is it that your "assisted" is just implying that you need assistance? Well just in case your looking for a traditional knife around $50 for edc I will put my two cents out there for you. I guess I would recommend checking that huge auction site or the exchange forum here on BF and try to pick up a used GEC in D2 . Specifically I would look for a Charlow but that's my personal preference. If your just dead set on something brand spankin new then I guess I would say....Buck 110. If you shop around you could probably pick one up for 50 or so. Although you said your looking for a better steal but never underestimate the heat treatment done by Buck :D

EDIT: well it looks like this WAS posted in the wrong forum.

In that case let me make a different suggestion. What about the Kershaw Chive? for around 35 - 40 bucks it's hard to beat for utilitarian purposes. Although the curvature of the blade can be a son of a ...well you know.... to sharpen. Hard to beat for 35 bucks.

Kershaw Funxion series are a bit thicker but each adds extra functionality for under $40 (street price): Outdoor, EMT and DIY. All with SpeedSafe assisted opening and a fair 8CR13MOV steel blade.

I would say the spyderco tenacious/persistence. Its crazy how sharp those knives comes. Good ergos. Great deal for $40.

Read the title properly.

This thread is regarding assisted folders only. The Spyderco Tenacious/Persistence are not assisted folders.
