What do you guys think the best action, both opening and closing on a budget knife is? Let's say sub 90$

Check out the CIVIVI line from WE. Pretty sure the bearings, detent and pivot are the same as on their more expensive offerings, just have more budget friendly steels and handle materials.

I picked up a two sun knife from the exchange here out of curiousity. Ridiculously smooth. Rivals my bearing driven knives that cost much more. Steel has held up fine to general warehouse chores.

Here's one you want to handle before you buy: the Kershaw Induction. Some reliable members here have reported downright BAD action on this knife but mine is EXCELLENT. Chalk it up to spotty QC.

Ontario Carter Prime could be a good choice. It’s a rather unique wharnecliff design.

Kizer Vigor is a great knife that costs well under $100 too.

If you like hunting style knives the Buck Silkirk Folder may do the trick.

The old Kershaw 1560 Whirlwind has really pleasing action. Don't know what it is, but I enjoy it.

Had a CRKT Mah Eraser that was ridiculously fun. I don't know if all of them have great action, but mine did.

Best opening and closing action for my money is a Balisong. Too bad $90 won't get much in this arena.

Kershaw link in m390 was only $80. The $40 version in 420hc probably has just as good action(excellent).
