I'm looking for the best all aound headlamp. Here's the criteria.
Not using for edc. Only during hunting season for dark trails, loading unloading the truck and atv. A couple fishing trips per year. Surf fishing at night in Galveston and Pensacola.
Here is my list of features in order.
1. Flood light (spot to flood adjustability is okay, but want a wide area light for up close work).
2. Lumens? Something above 50 real lumen output. Need to be able to see fishing rods on the coast from 30'-40' away.
3. Rechargeable - prefer rechargebale batteries so I can carry spares but not opposed to plug in with an extended run time.
4. Disposable battery operated.
5. Under $100
6. Waterproof (water resistant is okay too).
I've read a few posts here about the sub $20.00 Energizer headlamp. Is it that good with just disposable batteries.
Thanks in advance BF.
