So what is the the best Benchmade folder model out there for hard woodsman usage?
Is it the 710 McH.&Williams or Pardue's Griptillian or maybe the 706?

I'm about to purchase one.

710 - that thing packs a big punch in a light weight and efficient package.
I've chopped with it, batoned with it, cut just about everything with it.
The 710 is solid as a rock. It is as closed to a fixed blade
as a folder can get IMHO.

I love the 710 the 806 is also good and i dont have much eperience with the rukus but it is a big knife with a general utility blade. But for the money and intended outdoor use i dont think you can do better then the full size grip in cabellas version D2 any of the other big grips would be good too though

I'd say either a Mini-Rukus, or a Griptilian; probably the Griptilian, due to it's low price and high quality. While I like the full-sized Rukus, it's too big to edc, IMO. As for the clip on the Mini-Rukus, I hate the thing, since it's too bulky of a knife for pocket carry, so I removed it, and I carry it in a sheath on my belt.

The 615, excluding the clip, is the best knife that BM produces for overall use. It garners complete trust from me.

my current benchmade for backpacking/hiking/outdoor activities is the 520, worn in pouch on the backpack's belt
for edc i'd suggest a 710

The 710 is classic Benchmade. For my purposes it's still their best all-around folder. If you can find one with an M2 blade, all the better.

710 is a clear standout but I really like the old 750 pinnacle...the titanium framelock can take insane amounts of abuse

It is hard to say which is the best BM.
I would suggest the Grip for a beater BM and the 94X as EDC.

610 Rukus- can't beat it! That drop point blade with the flat grind is very versatil. Its my favorite BM bar none!
