well there was a opportunity to buy the LE axe hammers from Jeff Axelson! It was a honor meeting him. and It's a honor to own this knife. my pops got one with the most amazing case, coins and stuff. it's awesome. however was back ordered but the knives showed up today and I couldn't be happier. I believe this knife truly honors Matt and again I'm very proud and honored to be able to own it! I have to run out now but just wanted to post this up and share!! So freaking awesome!!

The AXE Hammer is one phenomenal knife, the story that goes with it is a good part of what makes it so incredible. Thanks for the pictures :thumbup: Enjoy your new blade.

It was awesome hanging with you brother and meeting your Dad. :thumbup:

The whole show was incredible, but this offering, the induction dinner night and after party with Jeff Axelson, and all the HOGs was definitely the highlight.:cool:

It's one of the finest blades to ever come out of Wauseon.

Thanks for sharing Pat. It truly is a great knife to pay tribute to a great man. Thanks again to Jeff for letting us be a part of his brothers legacy.
 
Trevor I couldn't agree more. To me that is a huge part of what makes this knife so special to me. Meeting Jeff jerry and hanging out with my fellow hogs having some beers. I hope to see you at knob creek also!

Josh I also agree completely with you. The knife is bad ass on its own but what makes it the best knife at blade show is the story and man behind it! Huge thanks to Jeff and the busse crew for honoring Matt and keeping his story alive. A true hero!!

my pops bought the wood case with coins. However I had spent to much already and didn't have the extra cash. The coins/case is well worth the money no questions asked. it's freaking awesome. I'll take some pictures of the set up when it shows up.

That knife looks like a combination of features and design from all the best Busse's with a little Swamp Rat thrown in. A fine tribute to a fallen warrior and I love how Jerry is always doing so much behind the scenes for our troops without seeking fanfare.
 
Outstanding! That is definitely a must buy and the case looks great (on the site). Always awesome to see our fallen heroes receiving honor and respect.

loved the writeup in the issue of Blade they were giving away at the door of Blade show, too.
 
Didn't know these existed. Gonna have to put one on my 'list of ish to buy in the near future'. Love me some sandstorm and love me supporting veteran's foundations!!
