Best, brightest, smallest???

Hey , new to this forum. It seems like you all would know...what is the best, brightest smallest flashlight?
Sorry, I meant to write more the first time.
Ok, I want something powerful/very bright, that I can keep in my car, but small enough to fit in my pocket. It should have a long "shelf life". I would use it for road side emergencies and general uses.

Exccept me of course. Nah, not really. My wife gets mad enough when I buy lithium batteries for my 2 Li lights. Would really be in trouble if I kept buying surefires...
