Best carbon fiber spyderco

The Stretch 2 ZDP model. 3.5 inches, wonderful ergonomics, a slicing knife that will outcut many high priced customs with ease. A crisp handling sport model. Stronger than delicate gents knives, but not in the same class as Manix/Chinook etc.

A very special knife that performs well above it's price range. It is ZDP so make sure you know what you are doing sharpening. No prying, etc.

The CF Cali3 with ZDP and CF Harpy are probably my favorites but the Superhawk and
CF Military are right up there too, I just prefer the non textured stuff for esthetic reasons.

You can see the difference in finishes in these pics. The Superhawk and Military look a bit
more like G-10 untill you see it at the right angle.

I love the sexy T-Mag, with CF scales, Ti liners and a cool blade-staying-open(?)mechanism. Not to mention S30v. Great blade, not for hard use obviously.

ZDP Caly 3 is a nice EDC and a great deal for the money. I also have a CF Police that is very cool, but not the most practical knife. Still looking for a CF Cricket.:o

Any opinions on the CF Sage? I've really been thinking about picking one of these up, but haven't actually had the chance to lay hands on one yet.

the sage is a lot of knife for a reasonable price.

as far as the cf goes, it depends on the texturing you prefer.

the military and stretch II have the peel ply texture, and as mentioned, have the look and feel of the g10 models.

the scales on the tmag and similar (CAT) i think look the best. sanded smooth so the fibers are clearly visible. but obviously it isn't as grippy as the peel ply.

my feeling is that if i buy a knife with cf scales, i want it to be visibly obvious. i prefer not to pay the extra $$ for cf when it looks like g10, and g10 provides just as much strength.

of course, this didn't stop me from buying s90v/cf military. :D

For now, my CF ZDP Caly3.

Got a Ti Sage II and like it MUCH more than the Caly3 though.
So I would say the CF SageI if I had one.
