Best carry options for Inova X5T?

How are you guys carrying them? Any recommendations? I really wish they had a pocket clip.

Call Almar Knives and order a clip from the SERE2000! The clip on the S2K bends 90 degrees and is perfect for the end of the original x5 that I use. Just a bit of JB-Weld and the Almar SERE2000 clip and your all set.
 
I carry mine with about 6" of paracord for a lanyard in my left pocket. At the end of the lanyard I tied a hex bolt on the end to use as a counterweight. Lanyard hangs about 3" or so out of my pocket. Due to the sleekness of the light, I pull on the lanyard, even when sitting, and the light comes right out. I dig this light.
 
Maybe I can talk Gary Graley into coming out of retirement and making me a nice leather sheath for it. ;)

That's what I've been thinking about doing--just haven't gotten around to it yet--I do recall him making a sheath for the X5T back when they first came out, but I never saw the result.
 
Dennis - I tied a lanyard to mine and carry it in the back pocket right next to my Mission Wallet. The lanyard hangs outside the pocket so I don't even have to look to grab it. Just give a tug on the lanyard. When I am wearing my vest ( ;) ) it's in one of the shallow front pockets, againi, lanyard hanging out. When I first got my X5T I tried the supplied nylon and elastic holster. While it rides nicely, it's got a tight grip on the light that I sometimes have to use two hands to free it, which is why I don't carry it in this way anymore.
 
If you want Kydex...Eric (AKA: Normark) makes a belt rig for it. I hope that Santa will have one in my stocking (if Mrs Claus forgets to order - Eric has already been "reminded" to have one made and sent ;) ) Hopefully Mrs Claus has caught my REPEATED hints and also found Eric's email and phone number that I have left all over the house!:D

I've got more than one toy that I need carry options on, that rig of Eric's is suh-weet. :)

where is that from? I'm looking for something to carry mine on a duty belt size belt, but not a duty belt? duh. anyway something like that.
 
without knowing anything i might guess river city sheaths because i know they do a lot of work with cf kydex. either way i'm sure either them or normark could make something.

The original Inova isn't as thick as the tac so I think it would fall out.

veritas- yup, diameter is different, but one can be made to fit it :D

Eric- thanks!! I am in the process of making an E2e sheath very similiar to yours....I originally tried to mold around the head, but it didnt turn out well :o
