As far as I know Boker is the only maker of ceramic folders. As far as using them as an EDC they are probably not the best choice. Ceramic is very hard, this holding an edge very well, but this also makes it very brittle. It is also very difficult to resharpen on your own. unless you plan only using the knife only for light cutting, and can be sure it won't be dropped I would not reccomend it as an edc.

I have the Boker Infinity with a Kyocera ceramic blade. I would not recommend it. You can sharpen them using diamond tape on an Edge Pro.

I would much prefer Talonite to ceramic.

The Mad Dog frequent flyer shown in the bottom pic is actually made of G10...the Operators in the top pic are ceramic...and they are GREAT! I have one and would recommend it...they are very hard to find and very expensive though

Apparently, they don't shatter because of 'zirconium' or something (the name slipped my mind)

Not recommended? I'm sure the edge would hold up sharper and longer than my current edc (Leek) right?
