Im a 26 year old Spyderco-lovin' chick and am planning to buy my third Spyderco knife sometime soon. I have a Calypso Jr Lightweight and a Delica. The Calypso is by far my favorite and my everyday carry. It feels perfect in my hand, fits easily in my pocket, even if Im wearing dress pants for work. The Delica is a great knife, but it was an impulse buy that I now regret. Its a bit big for me to carry comfortably and truth be told, I rarely need a blade that big anyway.
I haven't a clue why I feel like I need a third knife, but Im drawn to the Salsa, Meercat and Navigator. Maybe something with a serrated edge since my other two are plain. Is one of these 3 a better choice than the others? Whats the difference between the AUS 6 Meercat and the others? The aluminum Salsa vs the Ti? Combo edge over full serrated?
My friends laugh at me, carrying around "those scary big knives" and maybe Im just paranoid, but I think that everyone should always have two things on their person, a (good) knife and a flashlight
