Just curious at what others are giving this year. I need some creative suggestion and thought I'd start this thread.

So far I have some Fisher Space Pens and refill cartriges on order. I also thought about some Traser Glow Rings, but can't find a source in the U.S. that sells them.

What are your creative ideas this year?

I gave my dad a huge tenderloin for Christmas a few years ago. Picked it up at a local slaughterhouse the day before Christmas. Over seventy-five dollars worth of the tenderest, juiciest meat this side of Britney Spears.

Best Christmas gifts:

World Peace
More Custom Emersons
Time off work

What more could a man ask for?

Regards,

Ed

BTW Santa, you can keep world peace if you think I am asking for too much....

Viagra eye drops : they make you look hard ;)

Trip to Africa, India or the Poles. The world will never look the same again.

Gift certificates for a couple of dinners at a nice local restaurant?.

Thanks guys for all of your practical and not so practical ideas! I like the Heifer Project that Bae posted. I was involved with that in college and my great aunt was one of the people that helped to get this project off of the ground. It was developed by the Church of the Brethern, if I'm not mistaken.

This Christmas, I've found myself buying Photons as gifts. As far as anything else goes, I think that SMKW had Wegner keychain SAK's for sale. If not, go for glowrings.

I really like the Fisher space pen idea. i just got some and i really like them. Im going to give them to several people. I think a good rule for gift giving is: give someone what you would like to recieve.

I'm thinking of getting myself a pellet gun for x-mas since no one in the family will get it for me.

I used to have one a few years back but it broke (was a POS) and I miss being Rambo, empty soda cans fear me, I'm coming for you!!

You'll shoot your eye out, Ralphie!

Sorry, it is Christmas time, after all ;)

Obviously the only thing you can get for someone who has everything is the one thing that they don't have.......NOTHING. Very inexpensive too.

Someone please tell me more about the Fisher Space Pens.
Like price range and what you like about them.
Thanks
Vance

Photon lights sound like a good idea. How about a Leatherman Juice? Gift certificates are nice to get as long as they're for something you like. Magazine subscriptions are good for hard-to-buy-for people too. And there are a lot to choose from out there!
