Best Compliment to BAD?

I was wondering what large blade would best compliment the BAD. Do you need something like a battle mistress or would something like a NMSFNO suffice?
If the BAD takes care of the smaller duties does one only need a heavy chopper? Just trying to figure out my next piece of INFI! Thanks for the help!

You're not getting off that easy pal, there's tons of INFI for you to buy between that BAD and the BM's, Grin!
 
Just look at what you are going do most. If you are going to need a chopper, get a CG FBM, or FBMLE, or FFBM, or even better NMFBM.

If you want a smaller all arounder, NMSNFO, or even Ash1 for more of a mid sized. The FBM's are long and take up some weight and space if it is at a premium. Right now I am really digging on my Ash1 CG with a convexed edge. Last time I went camping, I left the FBMLE at home and took the Ash1cg, a GW convexed, and a modded SS convexed with the reverse curve taken out.

The point is you can't go wrong. Bigger, or smaller, what ever you think you will use most.

My first was the FBMLE, then the SS, then the GW, then a BAD, then traded the BAD for an Ash1 cg, because I had a hole in the mid sized, and the GW covered the AD size mostly. I really wish I still had that BAD too though.
 
Either a BM or a NMSFNO would work. If you're gonna carry it a lot, get the NMSFNO. If you're gonna use it a lot, get the BM.

To answer the OP, I'd say a FBMLE or NMSFNOLE for the satin finishes to go with the BAD's satin.

Doby: you're absolutely rotten. Just after I resolve to stop spending money I shouldn't spend, you show me the sheath setup I HAVE to have ('cept mine would house the much cooler blue/black G10 on a Mistress and BAD ;) ), not to mention now I have to get another 1911 (do Kimbers work out of the box? Went through a bunch of series 70 Colts that would not work, no matter what), oh, and where did you get the 1911 slabs, and do they make them in blue/black?

Man, this forum is costing me a fortune.
 
Cpl P. The blue/blk mistress and BAD will be sweet too and you will love the sheaths.

As for my Kimber I love it and have never had a single problem with it. Some people love them and some dont but I think they make a great 1911 for the price. I got my grips from Busse and yes they had blue/blk. You should give the shop a call and see if they have any and if not post a want to buy thread and you may score a set that way.
