Best countersink

ive searched this forum for this but came up dry on this particular question. What’s your recommendation for the best countersink bit for canvas micarta? The screws are 6-32 flathead that supposedly have a 90 degree bevel angle. Thanks

View attachment 1174559 Countersinks are available with at least 6 different conical angles. You can test your screws with a square if you have a 90 degree cone. Not my picture.

I like zero-flute countersinks, personally. No chatter!

6-32 flat head would be 82 degrees, metrics are 90 degrees. MA Ford Uniflute would be a good choice. Get new and only use on your micarta for best results. TIN, or whatever is available, coated may be worth it for this application, it would help with abrasion resistance.
