Best CS for dedicated car/truck carry?

Im finally getting around to organizing my truck and with that Im planning on equipping it with a dedicated blade of some kind. What would you use and how/where would you mount/carry it?

I used to keep a 4" serrated Hold Out in the sun glass holder near the rear view mirror in case of an emergency. But with all of the car break ins I decided to take it out.

I keep a Recon Tanto and a Barong Machete in my trunk.

Pocket Bushman. You’ll likely never need it but it’s bomb proof for $30 if you ever need it.

Will it be for emergency situations (cutting a seat belt) or for self defense…I would think a fixed blade would be better for that sort of thing. No need to deploy it, like a folder.

Maybe a Mini Tac Bowie???

I'm thinking a marauder or 12" machete, you know something that says "lets think about this for a minute" I"m buying a strap cutter/window breaker and I usually have a XL folder in my pocket. Just trying to figure out where to keep it securely in place and mostly out of sight.

Marauder sounds good (I wish CS still offered the satin finished model). Wonder if it would fit under your seat. Wherever you put it, make sure you don’t forget to remove it in case your truck goes to the repair shop…otherwise “bye, bye Marauder”.
