Best Custom Lock-back maker

Simple question, who is the greatest lock-back or mid-lock knife maker? On first thought I'd guess Ron Lake, but I am wondering if there are any other greats out there who really shine when it comes to this lock type specifically.

Bob Dozier is still making lock backs and they pop up on the site occasionally. That's where I would go.

Ryuichi Kawamura makes some of the best lockbacks out there.

Andrew Demko comes to mind also. Though technically, his lock is an improved version of the lock back/midlock.

I couldn't agree with that more. I've had a lot of lock backs over the last 40 years, and the Demko locks on my Cold Steel knives are the best I have owned.

I've never heard of him and did some googling. First result is a musician. Second search showed some great looking knives

W.D. Pease makes an outstanding lock back. You can still find some by deceased maker Frank Centofante, he was a great maker.
