Is there anywhere on this board that keeps us up to date on great sales and best deals on knives- multi tools- survival type stuff etc ? Also- pros and cons on stuff that works- doesn't work and dealers that are good to buy from ? I look all over the web - but until you buy you just are pretty much in the dark:confused:. There are also times when someone will post about a sale on a product and this really helps:thumbup:. I don't post much- but the informative posting on this board REALLY helps and I appreciate you folks sharing. Thank You:)

Deal spotting is against the rules on Bladeforums, so you won't see it here. CPFMP has a decent little deals forum, but they usually focus on flashlights.

I guess I should have worded it a bit different. Like " Does anybody know where to get QUALITY products at fair prices" ? Sorry about that-Thanks:thumbup::)

It really depends on what, exactly you are looking for. In general, most prices are going to be very close, unless one particular retailer is running a promo...

Yes- I have had many folks PM me on this board and others to make me aware of great price on something I am looking for:thumbup:.I have also purchased only to find that what I bought was overpriced and not up to par. That is why I really appreciate non bias reviews. Surely saves one much time- money and grief. Thanks:thumbup:

I really would suggest posting a thread in gadgets and gear or general knife when you come across something you want. That's generally the route I take. Of course, if you can specifically relate it to W&SS, post your questions here.

If I find a knife, light, compass, GPS, pair of boots, etc that catches my eye, I will search, and then post, a thread so I can get more info. That's the great thing about BFC. Tons of members who have usually tested gear.

Also, check out some of our "resident" gear stores.

Storl owns (I think) goinggear.com

Twowolveoutdoor.com is also run by a couple of forumites.
