Looking for any news on aftermarket DWR treatments out there. I've used Nikwax tx.direct in both the spray and wash-in varieties with "ok" results. I like the spray on better as wash-in seems to make my garments clammy. I've also used 303 fabric Guard with good results, though its not marketed exactly for this. Heard some abotu ReviveX but no experience...

Has anybody had real notable and/or exceptional results with any of these products? For me, it seems like the Nikwax works great but only for a short time; something requiring reapplication after any trip.
 
Nope, they are all about the same. Hopefully the next gen of products will be better, since they are trying to improve both the performance, and environmental impact. The main thing is to realize that none of these products are perfect, and any membrane based garment will eventually loose surface tension, and wet out.
