Which of the following is the best design for everyday use? The BM 710 D2, the full-sized Dejavoo, or the 210 Activator (S30V/G10/CF); thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

God bless you, America, our allies, and our men and women overseas.

KATN,

Wade

I like the 730 Aries, but they are hard to find. I had a 710 and liked it. Got a 520 on order. The mini Rukus is nice.

I have only one BM right now, the 615. I've owned a 551 and a Ritter Grip before and I've handled most of their current models. For me, this is the best knife available at BM.

The 730 or AFCK if you can find them but also the 940, 710, or Doug Ritter Gripper either size. Any of these would serve you well. You will not go wrong with a Benchmade no matter what you choose. GOOD LUCK! Kevin:thumbup:

I would say 710, but even better for EDC is 720 – more pocket friendly.

635 hands down! This knife is about the best PE production blade in existence.

The 210 is a great design also, but still not even close to the 635 IMHO

Of your choices, I'd go with the 710. Tough and proven to be a tank of a knife. I EDC one now (a 154CM version) and use it for everything from hiking to food prep. Couldn't lose with that one.

i currently edc the 740 and i love it for normal cutting tasks and the such however if you are hard on your knives i would go with the 710 or the 610/615. You might also want to check out the benchmade osborne 940/941/942 or the 960 check them all out if you can and see which feels the best in you hand and pocket

I own a ton of BMs. My advice, you want the one that will make you happiest, you HAVE to handle them and see what fits your hand best.

That said, for heavy work, my current favorite is the 425 Gravitator, even over my Ares. It looks weird in pics, but, for me at least, has incredible, hand-filling ergonomics.

Answered three posts today and in all of them I had something to say about the 610 Rukus, so I see no reason to stop now!!:) Flat ground, drop point, and S30V steel......hard to beat! Of the mentioned though, I would choose the 740 Dejavoo. Don't have one yet, but the blade shape looks so useful to me that I would think seriously about it!

My EDC is a BM 710 D-2. It's the best pocket knife I've ever owned, by far.

I've been EDCing the 14205 for a month now. I even let it ride clipless in my shirt front pocket while I'm at the office.

BM 940 for every day, it's not too big, not too small. BM707 when I'm not in jeans, and a BM14205S when I'm on a oil rig.
