I just got my first vantage select pro and had to give Buck some praise. My first Buck folder was the Buck Strider. It was probably the sharpest folder I've ever had and the lock-up was second to none. The vantage is just as sharp as the strider and the lock-up, centering, fit and finish...are perfect. I have a new idea of sharp. Some knives will shave but this edge will pop a few hairs and immediately try and dig into flesh
A friend of mine showed CJ Buck some of my glow scales at the last Bladeshow and he said CJ was interested in meeting me. I hope to see him at Bladeshow 2013 and hand him a Vantage with textured glow scales

This Vantage just kicked a 250.00 knife out of my pocket!

Interesting item you have here. Do you have to hold the material under a light to make it glow & how long will it glow? Next question can you make scales for the alpha series knives, 110/112's? I have a few grandkid's who will be hitting hunting camp soon and these scales would make their trip.
