I have a Marking Methods. It wasnt cheap but Ive never regreted spending the cash. It works so nice. Very deep etch. It is made to last a lifetime.

Don't know about the others but I have been using the rock bottom model (Personalizer) for 12 years now. I can not for the life of me see spending any more for any other machine. The personalizer does all that you need it to do, and it does for a very small price.

^ What R.W. said, I have a Personalizer too and it works just fine. Never a problem and only $99. !!!! Get a stencil made by them as well for like $42. !!! Good luck bro......RDT

After reading the threads that mike posted it is apparent that service after the sale is more critical than I realized - It would seem that electotech & IMG get the best marks - The personalizer users seem pleased, too - as long as they get their stencils made at a reliable & friendly place

i have a old marking methods machine that iwas given by a good friend that retired from kit knife making. it works fine. electro-chem is were i get stencils because they have a green material that is sharper and lasts lomger that the yellow stuff.

Electro Chem Etch makes the Personalizer. That is also where I get my stincels. Never had any problem with their customer service. I would rate them high on my satisfaction list.
