The Mountain Equipment Co-op in Canada supplies a great hardcase made out of Lexan. After many hard tumbles Downhill skiing, it, unlike me has no marks. The American Dollar also makes it quite attractive for people from the States

Most optometrists will have a drawer full of eyeglass cases. My favorite ones are made of steel, and roughly look like the letter 'B'; they are clamshell hinged. Have dropped these cases many times, eyeglasses have always survived unscathed.
