What are the best factory sheaths? How do they compliment there knife, what makes them great?

My choice is the Spyderco Moran fetherweight kydex, awesome functional belt sheath for an awesome and functional belt knife. Fit and finish is great, retention is excellent, rides in a variety of positions using the teclok fastner. All in all a super package, just right for the knife.

Others?

The Spyderco Moran and Temperance have the best factory seaths I’ve seen so far.

The sheath on the Camillus Arclite is very good also...retetion is secure without being too tight and the sheath is not bulky like many neck knife sheaths.

I forgot about the Temperance, that is a good one. I think my fav factory neck knife sheath is for the Emerson Lagriffe, I have heard others complain about these but mine is as minimalist as it gets while still offering excellent retention and that is after a lot of practice draws. That one is another good example of the sheath fitting the knifes intention, small and unobtusive yet reliable and quick to access.

they don't make these any more but the rekat drop point utility and fang neck knives came with excellent kydex sheaths.

Any Chris Reeve sheath:

They are always well made, well designed, and do their job in a way that complements the knife.
