Well. Thats a question that can be answered in many different ways. Its more of an opinion. I think most bushcrafters will agree that a scandi ground blade is best for bushcraft. but, a convex can handle more. Personally, I use both. If i have to carry one knife, id carry a scandi. but i usually try to have both a scandi and convex with me when camping. when i think of the "best bushcraft knife" i think of Rod Garcia's Skookum bush tool, and Ray Mears designed Woodlore style knife.
I agree, my favourite bushcraft knife is by far the 80 year old Eric frost mora I found with my grandfathers stuff. It was in bad shape but I fixed it up and it was still sharp when I found it. It does have a Scandinavian grind on it and it is incredibly light weight, it's a very natural and minimal feeling knife, incredibly light. I would recommend it to anyone any day of the week.
What bushcraft knife to recommend is dependent on what you do while "bushcrafting." Without knowing what you want to do I'd recommend a mora. Cheap and it'll do most things. Personally I think a hatchet and a pocket knife are much more useful then a belt knife but YMMV.

After a few years of use, I really like my Koster Bushcrafter, scandi ground in 3V. The steel is super tough and stays sharp for a long time. The knife fits my hand well, has a great tip for drilling and a big enough blade for anything I would need to do with it. (For bigger stuff, I use a folding saw.)
I got a full flat Koster bushcrafter in 3V a while back and hope to put it through its paces this spring and summer to decide which one works better for me.
I've also got some Rat 3 blades and a couple Moras (of which I like the 2000 a great deal) that I use. I want to try out a Fallkniven F1 against them and see how that fares. I like that the blades I have are pretty resistant to rust (3V, D2 and the Sandvick stainless) which makes for a worry-free stay out in the woods.
Also, with the exception of the Rat 3 knives, the handles of my most-used knives are super comfortable. The Rat 3 blades get the nod when I want something a bit lighter and compact.
Just some food for thought...
